Our children’s’ ministry isn’t primarily childcare. We are making disciples for Christ! We are called to know the ways of God and glorify Him with our giftings and abilities. Our goal is to cultivate these biblical principles from an early age.
We utilize a Bible study curriculum that aims to develop followers of Christ through studying God's Word in community. The curriculum's goal is to produce disciples who have a personal relationship with Jesus, live in step with the Holy Spirit, and contribute to the work of the local church. The curriculum also aims to develop believers who are prepared to spread the good news of Christ to others.
Music Curriculum:
Our Sunday and Wednesday music directors are classically trained and can play-by-ear. They impart their skills and music theory in a safe, structured and gospel affirming way. The goal of our music curriculum is to equip the children to participate in, and lead worship with the general congregation.
Drama Class
Members of Nations' Kids perform four or more stage plays every year! This portion of our curriculum helps to develop their confidence, stage presence, improvisational skills and extemporaneous muscles. Plus (and this is a BIG one), they gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the scriptures by learning and acting out stories, teachings and principles from the Bible!
Field Trip
We host an annual field trip for Nations' kids! Past excursions have been to the Fort Worth Zoo, North Dallas Aquarium and more. Our next big trip will be to the Noah’s Ark Recreation in Kentucky!
THIS IS A NUT-FREE ZONE
Please no outside food or drinks. Water is permitted. We provide snacks for all the children which your kid(s) are welcome to with your permission.
